Bring your Geological Curios to the Geckoella Fossil Roadshow

Bring your geological treasures – rocks, minerals, fossils – to the East Quay Courtyard on the 1st of August 11am – 3pm and see if you can stump our experts! Find out what it is. What’s it made of? How old is it? What’s it worth? Our Geologists will be on hand to scrutinise your curios and expect a visit from Dino the Velociraptor and Mary Anning the world-famous Victorian Palaeontologist. Entry Free!

Blow the dust off those bizarre collections of rock you have tucked away in the garage and join other Geology enthusiasts to see if you have uncovered a hidden gem. This will be a fun family day out and a chance to visit East Quay and enjoy the quirky town of Watchet. Car parking is available on harbour road a short walk away so you may want to unload any very heavy items at the venue and then park after. There is a cafe, galleries and studios to explore at the venue too, more information is available at www.eastquaywatchet.co.uk
