Invertebrates are important to conserve and Geckoella has undertaken a range of valuable work in 2023. Senior Ecologist Joshua Butterworth surveyed for pollinators across several sites with invertebrate specialist Dave Boyce, including a new community orchard in Bristol for the West of England Community Pollinator Project. Joshua said “this was a fascinating project to be involved with, great data collected and a thrill to see such diversity already in this newly replanted area, benefiting pollinating species and giving local residents opportunities to access nature.
