‘Geckoella was pleased to submit evidence yesterday (5th Jan 23) to the recent Somerset West and Taunton Council planning committee relating to the proposed ‘Cleeve Hill’ development at Watchet. This flawed development was unanimously refused in a victory for sustainable coastal management, with geology being one of the key reasons. Now the hard work begins… working with the Council and other influencers to help secure resources and identify a better solution for a community literally at the ‘cliff edge’ of climate change adaptation.
